What a special Christmas! A nice escape from the usual Christmas madness. We were warmly welcomed and the We appreciated the tasteful Christmas decorations and goody basket. There were some nice decorations and tasty treats on arrival. We were warm and cosy with lovely countryside views. We went on some wild, icy walks then nice to get back to a cosy cottage. We made use of the hot tub every day. We were in a lovely, peaceful location which we much appreciated.

This is our second time here and weve had a fantastic time. We absolutely love it, cant fault anything. Our golden retriever Max has loved playing with Rosie in the snow.

A wonderful week in a wonderful cottage especially the warm welcome and the hot tub! We visited a lovely picturesque fishing village Amble well worth a visit only 55 miles away. One day we went to Wheelbirks farm painted pottery, sat in the caf and saw a few farm animals. Thank you we will be back

We have had a very good holiday with amazing weather. I think we have covered the whole of County Durham and also gone beyond into Yorkshire (Middleham Castle) and Northumbria (Hexham and Corbridge), The cottage was ideal and you were most welcoming and helpful. We will recommend Jasmine Cottage to anyone at home.

Can we just say what a lovely four night break we had at Jasmine Cottage. Thanks for the welcome goodies. The view from the hot tub is better in real life compered to the pics. Natasha loved being with the dog, cats and the horses. Great welcome from Kevin and Margaret and I cant believe I know your family over in Seascale

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We loved the views, the Hot Tub and meeting the lovely horses, cats and Rosie the Labrador. Zazzles was a frequent visitor, much to our boys delight! We loved meeting you all and will take such fabulous memories with us back to Japan.

Thank you for a wonderful few days. We had a fantastic time. Loved seeing all the animals. Enzo our dog really enjoyed his play time with the sweet Rosie the golden retriever. Great accommodation and you are very welcoming hosts. We loved the welcome basket. That was very kind. We would love to visit again in the future.

We had a fabulous stay at Jasmine Cottage. We received a warm welcome from the owner on our arrival who introduced us to all the amenities and showed us around. The cottage was clean and well equipped and the hot tub was perfect for chilling in, with fantastic views of the unspoilt countryside. Extra special touches which were greatly appreciated were the bathrobes provided whilst using the hot tub and a very generous welcome pack. We will definitely return in the future.

Delightful accommodation, which was exactly what I was looking for. It is in a nice secluded position with far reaching views across country. We were greeted by the owner in a welcoming and friendly manner. He pointed out how to use the lovely hot tub and explained the controls in the accommodation. Whilst we were left to our own devices, he was always on hand to help advise us, I highly recommend this two double bedroomed establishment.

We had a lovely week stay in Jasmine cottage. Thank you for the very warm welcome and goodie basket, enjoyed by us all.
The cottage is perfect for visits to Durham, Beamish and lots of lovely villages nearby. Highly recommend Sunday Lunch at the Kings Head Lanchester. Also Knitsley Farm Shop for nice steaks, sausages and sweet treats. Durham Cathedral also well worth a visit. And of course the hot tub from where we enjoyed the views through the day and saw lovely night time skies.

Jasmine Cottage is located in a lovely area just a couple of miles from Lanchester. There are plenty of local amenities there and in nearby Consett which has several big supermarkets etc .Location was excellent for visiting Durham, Beamish Museum and High Force all within a short drive. We had some lovely meals locally as well.
Accommodation is on a quiet spot overlooking the hills and provided excellent views at night for dark sky photography. Definitely worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jasmine cottage. It was immaculately clean especially considering pets are allowed. It was warm and cosy. We wanted a quiet rural location and that’s what we got. We wanted to get away from the fireworks for the dog, we could hear the odd few in the background but nothing compared to home. The hot tub was amazing with lovely views. The owner we’re friendly and respected our privacy. We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked up for a full week next year

Thank you for a wonderful stay, You live in a truly gorgeous place.  Jasmine Cottage had everything we could need, warm, comfortable and well equipped with a lovely garden and hot tub.  Really helpful owners made us feel really welcome but were not intrusive and some lovely animals, which added to the enjoyment. High Force waterfall and Tunstall Reservoir were both gorgeous and the Kings Head Lanchester did a great Sunday Lunch (thanks for the tip!) . Will hopefully return next year!

Had a lovely stay at Jasmine Cottage visiting Family. Beds are lovely and comfortable. Hot Tub was fantastic even in the wind and rain!
My daughter spent most of her time (freezing) cuddling the black and white cat. She is very sad to leave. Well be back thank you!

What an amazing little cottage! Perdect location, quiet and beautiful.  Everything we could possibly need and an extra bonus of a Hot Tub! The weather didnt even dampen our spirits, in fact it made High Force even more spectacular! Warmer here than our home in Scotland anyway!!

We had an amazing stay in alovely cottage. Weve enjoyed every single day. Weve had furry friends which were welcoming us every single morning.
Views and atmosphere were lovely. Our little dog named Ghost tried to make some friends with horses but unfortunately got scared as they were a little bit bigger than him.
We felt welcomed and would gladly come back. Hot Tub was a nice addition.
